Sources said the Rawalpindi police had received forensic reports related to the case, including the final post-mortem report.

The committee has also contacted Hina Javed’s family as part of its review.

Hina Javed was allegedly murdered at her home on August 21. A case was registered at the Civil Lines police station, with her husband Faisal Asghar and domestic worker Zeeshan Arshad nominated in the case. Both suspects are currently on judicial remand at Adiala Jail.
